Terragon tractor accident leaves man critical

A 51-YEAR-OLD Terragon resident is in a critical condition after a tractor accident on Friday, October 28, at about 6.30pm.

There’s scattered information about the cause of the accident, however the man remains in a critical condition and his name has not yet been released.

It was about 6.40pm when the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Terragon and the man was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital.

“The medical team assessed the man for major head, chest and abdomen injuries,” a statement from Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter – Northern Region reads.

“The medical team elected to extract the patient via a stretcher winch under the aid of night vision goggles.”
