AN EXCITING new business known as Haircorp ‘haircuts for everyone’ is now open on level one at The Strand in Coolangatta and the team are keen for locals to drop by get a haircut and say g’day.
Owner Sam Jenkins has been a professional hairdresser for nearly 30 years throughout Queensland and currently runs another Haircorp ‘haircuts for everyone’ at Hervey Bay.
“After establishing such a successful salon in Hervey Bay, I was approached by The Strand to open up here and jumped at the chance,” she said.
Mrs Jenkins said her vision for the business is to engage and support the local community while offering “extremely reasonable prices”.
“We believe in giving back to the community,” she said.
“We love to embrace the community and I can’t wait to hear the stories from locals.”
The business was set to open on Tuesday, May 7.
“We are also offering a great discount for senior pensioner card holders in the first week, men will be $13 and ladies $17 for haircuts,” she said.
Mrs Jenkins said she believe in service with a smile and will always make time for locals.
“We wanted to be different and provide a great high-quality haircut at an affordable price,” she said.
Team members include senior hairdressers Julie Tracey, Rochelle Hopkins, Nicole Mansfield and Jorgie Jenkins.
“They’re all local employees, which we think was important to have a local team,” she said.
“I feel like I have the best team in Coolangatta, they’re very well-known and have extensive experience in the industry.”
Mrs Jenkins said her vision is to have a long-term team “that’s here to stay and supports the local community that also listens to your needs”.
“Come on down and say hello and get a quick haircut, everyone’s welcome,” she said.
No appointments are necessary and walk-ins are welcome.
