Murwillumbah teen held up with scissors

A MURWILLUMBAH teen has lost $750 worth of photographic equipment, after he was held up with a pair of scissors at Condong Street around 12pm on Friday, September 9.

Murwillumbah Police said the teen and his two friends were using a camera on Condong Street when they were approached by two males, described only as wearing hoodies.

“The victims were threatened with a pair of scissors and wooden stick before taking the photographic equipment worth around $750,” police said in a media statement.

“The offenders were last seen leaving the area in a older style white dual cab ute, with a red P plate suction capped to the rear window and a blue esky in the tray with a white lid.”
