BACARO OWNERS and well-known local couple Luca Bassetto and his wife Giorgia D’Ambros are pleased to announce they have secured the new lease on the Tweed Regional Gallery Café under Tweed Shire Council.
Known as Gallery by Bacaro, the couple are hoping to bring a fresh new approach to the menu with their delicious Italian touch, as well as offering a great range of everyday dishes and sandwiches.
The pair bring a wealth of experience from the Gallery Café’s kitchen with both Luca and Giorgia under a previous lease through Mavis’s Kitchen.
Sharing their Venetian background and their love of food and culture, the Gallery team said they were “thrilled to announce that the team of Luca, Giorgia, Ricky and Cristina from Bacaro in Murwillumbah’s M|Arts Precinct has opened Gallery by Bacaro”.
“Many will know the Bacaro team and their delicious fare from their existing venue in the vibrant M|Arts Precinct which includes the Gallery DownTown, the annexe to the Tweed Regional Gallery, and the many artists’ studios located in the arts precinct,” Council said.
“The Bacaro team look forward to welcoming you to their second venue and are inviting you to come along and enjoy their delicious and delectable food and coffees and the breathtaking views of the Tweed Valley.”
Galley by Bacaro is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
