HOME INSTEAD Senior Care co-owners Chris Davey and Steve Patterson are this month celebrating 14 years since opening with the care provider continuing their vital services in homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr Davey said the team have been providing “exceptional care” to their clients over the years and will continue to change the face of ageing as the Tweed Shire population grows.

Together they have built and expanded the business into two territories and in 2017 became Home Care Package providers, enabling them to provide exceptional and accessible in-home care to all seniors throughout the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast.

With the aging population showing an increase in numbers, it becomes very important to have the right care facilities for them to live comfortably and in good health. It may just be that in home health care allows aging adults to live in an environment that is familiar and homely, increasing life expectancy to an extent, which is why it is often the preferred route.

Old age can lead to a lot of critical diseases and health conditions that may require special care and assistance. Moreover, if the elderly person has a history of heart disease, stroke, etc., they might need quick access to afm urgent care (or one provided by other healthcare organizations in your neighborhood). In any of these situations, having in-home care professional can prove to be beneficial to get medical care rapidly.

“We know we are the best choice for in-home care for seniors, but don’t just take our word for it,” Mr Davey said.

“Here are testimonials from our satisfied seniors and grateful family members who place their trust in us every day to provide high quality in-home care. To us, it’s personal.”

Elise, Cliffy and their family spoke highly of Home Instead, highlighting the business as “something special”.

“From the moment I spoke to our Care Manager, Jen Irwin, I knew I was onto something special and I have never been able to fault her or Home Instead,” Elise said.

“Having Sandy as dad’s carer for over the past year has brought such a change to my dad’s life and gave him meaning and purpose.
“It also changed my life, as now I don’t have to worry each and every day as I know Sandy would be there to care for him.”

Another happy client Stuart said he could not manage with the help of Home Instead.

“I am so grateful to have Home Instead Senior Care helping me and my wife Madonna,” he said.

“I couldn’t manage day to day without the help I receive from our Caregivers.
