Motorcyclist injured after South Murwillumbah accident

A MALE motorcyclist has been transported to The Tweed Hospital in a stable condition with leg fractures after being flung from his motorbike on Tweed Valley Way, South Murwillumbah this afternoon, Sunday, January 14.

Witnesses to the incident said the man was ejected several metres from his bike after colliding with another vehicle.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the scene and along with paramedics stabilised the rider who sustained leg fractures.

Paramedics transported the man to The Tweed Hospital in a stable condition.
