Wood chipper worth $50,000 stolen from Fernvale home

TWEED POLICE are investigating the theft of a yellow Vermeer wood chipper valued at around $50,000 that was stolen from a Fernvale property recently.

Police said the wood chipper was taken from a Fernvale property between Tuesday, September 12 and Friday, September 22.

The Vermeer is a BC1800XL wood chipper which can carry a price tag of around $50,000 and up.

“Police are seeking any information into the whereabouts of the wood chipper or any suspects for the matter,” a police statement said.
