THE 53-YEAR-OLD female passenger involved in last month’s Tweed River accident sadly passed away this morning at The Tweed Hospital.
The woman suffered critical injuries following a crash into the Tweed River at Tweed Valley Way, Condong and was transported to The Tweed Hospital.
The driver, a 33-year-old woman, was also taken to The Tweed Hospital. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
Tweed Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
This follows the sad news on Monday October 10 that the motorcyclist involved in last Friday’s (October 7) accident at Kyogle Road passed away.
