Vandals break into South Tweed clubhouse

TWEED POLICE are appealing for information after the South Tweed Touch clubhouse was vandalised over the weekend and several items of sporting equipment were stolen.

The clubhouse, located at the Dave Burns Oval, was broken into and vandalised with graffiti between the hours of 7.30pm on Friday, September 22 and 9.15am on Monday, September 25.

The vandals also stole several touch footballs and air horns from the clubhouse.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the person who has been using the graffiti tag pictured below to contact Tweed Heads Police 07 5506 9499 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. This information can be provided anonymously.

Police are also asking the public to be on the lookout for the stolen footballs (example above).
