UPDATE: TWEED POLICE are appealing for public assistance following a motorcycle crash at Clothiers Creek on Thursday, June 21.
Police said it was about 4.30pm when emergency services were called to Clothiers Creek Road at Clothiers Creek, about 25km south of Tweed Heads, following reports a yellow Honda motorcycle crashed into a fence.
On arrival, officers from Tweed/Byron Police District found the passenger, a 38-year-old woman, with head and arm injuries. She was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.
The rider, a 44-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Murwillumbah Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Anyone who saw the motorcycle in the area before the time of the crash is urged to come forward.

The condition of a motorcycle rider who was involved in a collision on Clothiers Creek Road around 4.30pm this afternoon remains unknown.
The accident follows multiple calls for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter including a 70-year-old woman who fell from a tractor at Stokers Siding in the morning today.
Media spokesperson Roger Fry said it would be another hour before information would be made public.
The woman riding the motorcycle, whose age was unknown, was transferred by emergency services.
The woman who fell and hit her head on the tractor, was flown to Gold Coast University Hospital by the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter.
