TWEED POLICE are speaking to the driver of a late model Pajero 4WD that appears to have slid and slammed into a paperbark tree on Greenway Drive, Banora Point.
A Duty Officer at Tweed Heads Police Station told The Weekly the vehicle has been at the site since Sunday, February 26.
Police identified the driver earlier in the week and are now making inquiries with him or her in order to understand the circumstances around the accident and to have the car removed.
