A 20-YEAR-OLD Murwillumbah man has been hospitalised with serious head injuries following a trail bike crash on Saturday, October 22.
The man was riding a trail bike on the road leading to the Murwillumbah Golf Club, Byangum Road in the early hours of Saturday, October 22 around 1am when he lost control and collided with a tree.
A neighbour located the man on the ground with head injuries. It is believed that he was not wearing a helmet. The man was treated at the scene by ambulance officers before being transported by road to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact police.
