A MULTI-VEHICLE accident at Tweed Heads South is causing delays with two northbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway closed.
The accident occurred at around 4.20pm this afternoon between the Darlington Drive and Minjungbal Drive exits with one of the vehicles flipping onto its roof.
Tweed Heads Firefighters along with Banora Point Fire Station Firefighters attended the accident.
The motorist, who was very lucky not to be seriously injured, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Tweed Hospital by ambulance.
A minor oil/petrol spill was cleaned up with a hydrocarbon absorbent and the road was re-opened a short time later.
Motorists are being warned to expect delays.
