A LOCAL family has expressed relief after Jessie Lesleighter, 26, was located last night (Sunday, April 2) after she had been reported missing during the Tweed floods.

Her mother Jane Kenny contacted local police, media and posted across social media in the hope of locating Jessie.

“Please message me if you have seen my daughter to let her family know that she is safe,” Jane said.

“She is currently unable to be contacted so any assistance is greatly appreciated. She has medical concerns.”

But relief came last night when Jessie made contact after she had been relocated and lost phone reception due to power outages.

“Jessie has been found,” a post reads this morning.

“Thank you everyone who share my post from the bottom of my heart.

“She has been found safe and well and had relocated from the area and had no phone reception to contact anyone.

“Such a massive relief from all her family and friend.”
