POLICE ARE appealing for public assistance to locate Aaron Scriven, following a serious assault and vehicle theft at Banora Point on Friday, July 21.

He is believed to be driving a stolen white 1998 model Toyota Corolla, registration number DMH23G (NSW).

Police said Scriven, aged 22, has outstanding warrants for domestic assaults. He was also arrested by Tweed Police last July for breaching his bail conditions.

“Scriven is known to frequent the Northern Rivers area of NSW and would potentially be couch surfing with various associates,” Police said in a media statement.

“Recent information suggests he could be heading to relatives in the Grafton and Lake Macquarie areas.”

If any member of the public has information that may assist they can contact Tweed Heads Police Station on 07 5536 0999 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
