A 44-YEAR-OLD Kingscliff man will face court next month on several drug charges after police raided his unit on Kingscliff Street on Wednesday, January 11.
Tweed Police said it was 2pm when officers attached to Tweed/Byron Local Area Command executed a search warrant at the unit.
During the search, police said they (allegedly) found a small amount of cannabis, $3500 in cash, scales and other drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested the man at the scene and he was taken to Tweed Heads Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug and deal with proceeds of crime.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday, February 6.
