BRAY PARK Mechanical owner Mark Fendley is pleased to announce new owner and operator Holly Fitzgibbon will take the reins of the popular local mechanical shop.
A long time and passionate local, Ms Fitzgibbon told The Weekly she was excited to take on her next adventure in her life after 10 years in the industry.
She also has some fresh and exciting ideas and will specialise in brakes, suspension, front end repairs across all makes and models.
“I couldn’t be happier with the move,” she said.
“This has been a dream of mine for many years having been in the trade since I was 12.”
Ms Fitzgibbon said her spark for mechanical repairs started very young and she started her apprenticeship when she was 15 years old in 2010.
“I’m keen to provide the same friendly local service to the region that’s become a tradition at Bray Park,” she said.
“We would love for locals to come down and say hello and book in some mechanical work to get the ball rolling.”
Bray Park mechanical has been servicing the Tweed Shire since 1962 and continues to provide old-fashioned service with modern equipment and techniques.
Mr Fendley said he was pleased to hand the reins over to Ms Fitzgibbon, who he said a great attitude and outlook toward the future of the business.
“I think the business is in great hands,” he said.
“Holly knows the area and locals extremely well and I’m sure she will go far in the industry.
“We like the community to come down and wish Holly the best in the new venture, and book in some work.”
