Gold Coast man charged with Pottsville break and enter

A 26-YEAR-OLD Helensvale man has been charged and denied bail over a break and enter at Pottsville on Wednesday, March 1.

The male was arrested by Tweed Police as he was leaving an address in Arrawarra Street, Pottsville.

Police are alleging the man was responsible for break and entering a Pottsville home – stealing an Xbox console, wine, laptop, jewellery and cash.

The male was also allegedly found to have stolen number plates and was allegedly driving a stolen car from a Gold Coast home.

The man was charged with break and enter, stealing, driving a car without consent, entering a vehicle without consent and three counts of goods in custody suspected of being stolen.

The man was refused bailed and will appear before Tweed Heads Local Court, tomorrow, Monday, March 6.
