A DRUNKEN 22-year-old female from the Gold Coast rolled her black Mazda while travelling South along Sexton Hill Drive at Banora Point on Friday, December 9.
Tweed Police said the woman was driving through a roundabout when the car collided with the gutter causing it to flip and cross into the northbound lanes coming to rest against a telegraph pole.
Police drove to the scene a short time later and located the female who admitted to being the driver at the time of the collision. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
A roadside breath test returned a positive result of 0.141, which is almost three times the legal limit of (0.05). She was placed under arrest and was transported to the Tweed Heads Police Station where a further breath analysis was undertaken.
The female was issued with Court Attendance Notices for Mid Range PCA, Negligent Driving and her Licence to drive has been suspended.
