IT HAS been the greatest honour to represent the Murwillumbah Colts Junior Rugby League Club as their club president this season.
I am also proud to announce that the Colts have achieved one of the best seasons in the club’s history.
As far as regular season results, it has been the best the Colts club has achieved with three teams out of six achieving minor premiers this season, an outstanding result.
Much of the success of the Colts has been due to the dedication and thorough knowledge from our experience coaches and the combined team efforts of the players working together.
It’s this professionalism and dedication from our coaches that is helping our players to achieve not only their best individual performances, but outstanding results as team members to take the Colts to new heights.
There’s no one individual that I would like to highlight this season, although there’s been a lot of individual players who put in 100 per cent every match, however it’s been the consorted efforts of the teams that has seen the Colts achieve these outstanding results.
I’d like to thank all our players and coaches for putting in the hard work this season to achieve these results, and as we continue to grow and develop our partnership with the Murwillumbah Mustangs I foresee a strong future ahead.
It should be noted that none of these results would have been possible without the support and partnerships with our committed sponsors.
I’d like to extend a big “thank you” to our sponsors including: Bianchetti& Sons, Tweed Valley IGA, Work ‘n Country, East Coast Asphalt, Hardings Earthmoving, Global Shades & Sails, Hakka Hire, O’Keefe Earthmoving, Wollumbin Street Bakery, Murwillumbah Mustangs, JT Water and Truck Hire, Box Freight Container, J&L Wise, DRM Electrical, Ray Hall Tyres, Murwillumbah Truck Centre, Contrast Constructions, Sportsworld, Southern Cross Credit Union, Tweed Fruit Exchange, Westlawn, All Engine Repairs, Daniel Gray Plumbing, SnP Mechanical & Detailing, Samurai Sushi, JH Williams & Sons, Melaleuca Station, Aussie Bouncin Bites, Adam’s Passionfruit, McCracken, Everest Bananas, Tony Campbell and Sub Tropical Bananas.
