Bag snatch victim asked to come forward

TWEED POLICE are seeking the victim of a bag snatch that took place at Kingscliff on Friday, February 9, to come forward and provide information to investigators.

Police said that it was about 11.25am on Friday, February 9, when a man (pictured) has allegedly grabbed a bag from an elderly female and ran away.

“The offender dropped the bag a short distance away on Marine Parade, Kingscliff and a witness gave chase when the man ran through the Kingscliff Hotel,” police said.

“If any member of the community can identify the male in the red football jersey shown below, police would like to speak with him as he may be able to assist with police inquiries.”
