TWEED POLICE have charged a 72-year-old Tweed Heads woman with several drug offences after a search of her property on Thursday, June 22.
Police said it was about 9.20am when officers carried out a search warrant at a Flamingo Place property.
Police allegedly seized around 1.28 kilograms of cannabis and around $1000.
The 72-year-old female was arrested and charged with two counts of supplying a prohibited drug and possessing a prohibited drug as well as dealing with proceeds of crime.
The woman was bailed to Tweed Heads Local Court on the July 10.
