TWEED POLICE carried out a search warrant on a Larkins Road property in Tyalgum on Wednesday, May 24, uncovering 29 cannabis plants.
The officers also discovered an unregistered firearm at the property and almost three kilograms of cannabis leaf.
Officers from the Target Action Group said they charged a 57-year-old male at the property and transported him to Tweed Heads Police Station.
Police said the man was charged with several drug and firearm offences.
He was released on strict conditional bail, to appear at Murwillumbah Local Court on June 27.
