TWO C-17A Globemasters flew near 90-metres above sea level during a practice run over Tweed today (Wednesday, April 12).

Several holiday makers and families had already set up for their cameras for photos with some areas including Kingscliff getting a distant view, while Cudgen had a great view.

The Globemasters are considered used by the armed forces as massive cargo movers and each can carry 70 tonnes of cargo.

Crews are constantly training on the aircraft and the low level flying also took place in early 2016.
