Zane Love arrested at Banora Point

ZANE LOVE, who was wanted by Tweed Police was arrested at Banora Point yesterday, Thursday, February 23.

Mr Love had an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Tweed Heads Local Court in relation to drug matters and avoiding arrest. He was also on bail from Queensland.

Police said with the assistance of the local community, Zane Love was located at an address in Banora Point, and placed under arrest without incident.

Mr Love was bail refused by Police and will appear at Byron Bay Local Court this morning February, 24.

Jarrod Skimmings arrested

TWEED POLICE also made the arrest of Jarrod Skimmings at Kingscliff on Wednesday, February 22.

Mr Skimmings was wanted on two outstanding warrants and had been actively avoiding police.

The warrants were conviction, revocation of parol and ereturn to prison warrants.

Police said with the assistance of local community, Jarrod Skimmings was located by plain clothes officers at an address in Kingscliff, and placed under arrest.

Tweed Police said they wanted to thank the community for their assistance in making the two arrests.
