Motorbike rider in serious condition following Sleepy Hollow crash

A MOTORBIKE accident that occurred on Pottsville Road, Sleepy Hollow last night (November 16) has left a male rider with serious injuries.

Emergency services attended the scene at about 7.30pm in which the motorbike rider had left the road, down an embankment and into trees.

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Medical Team worked alongside local Ambulance Paramedics, Police Rescue Officers and personnel from the State Emergency Service to access the patient.

The 50-year-old male reportedly suffered leg, spinal and head injuries and was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
