A GROUP of local ladies decided to organise a walk around the Murwillumbah CBD last Wednesday, September 7, as part of Women’s Health Week.

The walk was organised by prominent locals Sally Mather from First National Real Estate Murwillumbah and Tahlia Boan from Missy T Personal Training.

The walk attracted another nine local women who linked arms for a women’s health walk.

“We wanted to do something for women’s health week so we organised a walk around the CBD with a group of ladies,” Mrs Mather said.

“We stopped by Tweed Fruit Exchange and they supplied us with fresh cut fruit, which was extremely nice.”

Mrs Boan said The Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week is a week to focus on your health, learn more and take action. “We feel that women need to support each other and this walk was a way to meet new people and have some fun whilst raising money for the Jean Hailes Foundation,” she said.
