TWO PEOPLE have suffered minor injuries after they crash landed a light aircraft at Eviron this morning.
The plane landed in a cane field and emergency services were called to the crash site at Eviron Road at about 7.45am.
A man believed to be in his mid 30s was transported to hospital by ambulance after he reported neck pain and a head injury.
There were two people on board who reportedly exited the aircraft themselves and only suffered minor injuries.
A fuel spill was contained by Fire and Rescue and the scene is now rendered safe.
The aircraft has been left in place to allow Police and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority to investigate the incident further.
The aircraft crash was the second in less than six months following a crash landing at Banora Point in late 2016.
